P!ink - Blow Me (One Last Kiss) - A Musical Comic
So you’ve probably been wondering where the hell I’ve been, right?
So after my mom got out of the hospital I went through a huge and terrible break up, and got completely messed up from it. I fell behind on work, slept all the time, and became too depressed to do anything with myself. On top of all that, I had several projects and deadlines going on and I couldn’t get anything done. It was absolutely terrible and not getting work done made me feel even worse about myself the entire time.
The harder part was finding out a week later after we broke up that he’d been seeing someone else while we were together, and they were now a couple. Needless to say, that was another drawback and threw me into even more emotional turmoil.
I got so tired of feeling bad about myself and feeling so sad and hurt that I wanted to do something about it. I’ve heard this song a million times on the radio, but it just felt right. P!nk’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” just made me feel better, so I drew to it.
It was the more therapeutic, self indulgent project I decided to take on despite having all these other projects, and I’m so glad I did it because I’m finally starting to feel better. I finally got to express how I felt about everything. I finally got a say in things. I’m not completely healed, but I’m getting there and taking it one day at a time.
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended my streams while I worked on this, to those who sent me encouraging messages, to all of you reading this who have been ever so patient with me and my lack of posts and comic updates, and to Alex for helping me put the comic into video form. Thank you thank you thank you all so much.
I’m going to be back on my feet soon, and I promise I’ll come back swinging.
